ProtoLab operates in the fields of research, education, and knowledge transfer in additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing). It also offers consulting, prototyping, and design services for components and devices.

3D4Med, the first laboratory of its kind in Italy and one of the few operating internationally, conducts research and clinical activities on the application of additive manufacturing technologies in the medical field.

The 3DMetal laboratory focuses on the production of metal components through additive manufacturing techniques and carries out research on device optimization and process simulation, offering greater design and manufacturing possibilities.

The MATErial Mechanics LABoratory (Mate-Lab) is designed to characterize the mechanical properties of a wide range of materials using specialized testing equipment.
